How we sized your system
1 What does your rig run?
Pick your rig type to pre-load typical appliances, then add or remove anything. Wattages are rough starting points, so tweak the ≈ W and hrs/day to match your gear. We'll total your peak draw and daily energy.
↔️ Slide-out rooms are included. Trailers and motorhomes come pre-checked with a slide-out allowance (~350 W). The motor only runs for seconds per cycle, so it adds very little daily energy. Adjust the watts and time, or switch it off if your rig has none.
2 How will you charge your batteries?
Most battery + inverter setups recharge from shore power or a generator. Solar is optional. Tell us your plan so we size the system, and your panel array if you want one, correctly.
3 Pick your system voltage
HUSKY 2 comes in 12V, 24V, and 48V. Higher voltage means lower current and thinner cables for the same power, but most native RV loads are 12V. Here's the trade-off for your 0W peak draw.
