Can the EG4 280Ah be installed outdoors?
Yes. The PowerPro All-Weather is built with weather-resistant construction for both indoor and outdoor installations, with integrated self-heating for cold climates. That is what separates it from indoor-only wall batteries that cannot be exposed.
What is the EG4 PowerLift Pro for?
It is an available add-on that helps handle and position the battery during installation. A 14.3kWh wall-mounted battery is heavy and awkward to lift into place safely, and the PowerLift Pro is designed to make that a one-person job rather than a two-person struggle.
Does the PowerPro work with the 12kPV?
Yes. It is UL 9540 certified for grid-tied closed-loop communication with the EG4 12kPV, 18kPV, FlexBOSS18 and FlexBOSS21. For off-grid non-UL 9540 installs it works with all BigBattery APEX inverters and all EG4 inverters.
