Do I need two lithium batteries for my RV?
For weekend and shoulder-season trips, one 400Ah battery is usually enough. Two becomes worth it once you are running a residential fridge, air conditioning, or living in the rig full time. Two Husky 2 batteries give you 800Ah and 10.24kWh, which doubles both your runtime and the current available for high-draw appliances.
Can I run my AC on lithium batteries?
Yes. Two Husky 2 batteries support 500A continuous discharge, which is comfortably above what a 13,500 BTU rooftop air conditioner needs through a 2,000W inverter. On 10.24kWh you can expect roughly 8 to 12 hours of continuous air conditioning, or a full night with the compressor cycling.
How do I wire two 12V lithium batteries in parallel?
Connect positive to positive and negative to negative, then take your inverter feed from opposite corners of the bank so current draws evenly across both batteries. The kit includes a 4AWG ring-to-ring cable for this. A parallel busbar is an optional add-on and becomes worthwhile at three or more batteries.
What do I need to upgrade my RV to lithium?
The batteries, a lithium-profile charger or converter, and cabling. If your existing converter only has lead-acid or AGM charge profiles it will chronically undercharge a LiFePO4 bank. The kit ships with the interconnect cable; a busbar, 350A capacity meter and SmartSolar charge controller are available as add-ons.
