1x at 5.12kWh suits light-duty RV, van and marine setups with modest loads and shorter trips. 2x at 10.24kWh fits extended trips and daily use with moderate loads. 3x at 15.36kWh is for high-demand off-grid systems that need maximum runtime.
Do I need a charger with my 24V battery?
You need a 24V lithium-profile charger, and the kit includes one. A lead-acid or AGM charger uses the wrong voltage profile for LiFePO4 and will typically leave the pack undercharged. Buying the kit means the charger is already matched to the battery.
How many 24V batteries do I need for full-time RV living?
Full-time use with a residential fridge and air conditioning generally needs 10kWh or more, which is the 2x or 3x configuration. The 1x kit works for part-time and seasonal use. Add up your daily watt-hours and size for two days of autonomy.
Can I expand this kit later?
Yes. The kit is offered in 1x, 2x and 3x configurations built around the same battery, so you can start with one and add more. Use matching batteries, bring them to a similar state of charge before connecting, and add the parallel comm cable and busbar as you scale.
