Its standalone “No Comm” design makes it ideal for systems that do not require inverter or CANBus communication – offering simple, plug-and-play performance without added complexity.

What is the difference between the comm and no comm Eagle 2?
Both are 24V 64Ah 1.63kWh GC2 batteries. The comm version supports CANBus and inverter communication for system monitoring and integration. The no comm version is standalone, with no CANBus, for systems that do not need or support communication.
Do I need communication on my lithium battery?
Only if your equipment can use it. Modern lifts and inverter systems benefit from closed-loop data. Older equipment, simple 24V systems and standalone builds do not read it at all, in which case the no comm version gives you identical power without paying for a feature you will not use.
Will a no comm battery work with my older scissor lift?
Yes, that is exactly what it is built for. Legacy and non-CANBus lifts run fine on standalone batteries. The no comm Eagle 2 gives you lithium runtime and charging speed without needing your lift's control system to support communication.
Is the no comm version cheaper?
Yes. It is priced below the CANBus version because it omits the communication hardware. For equipment that cannot use CANBus data, that is a straightforward saving with no performance difference in capacity, discharge or cycle life.
Can one Eagle 2 power my equipment on its own?
Not a full system. A single Eagle 2 is not designed to run a complete vehicle such as a golf cart. Multiple batteries may be required depending on your voltage and power requirements, so match the configuration to your motor and controller specs.
