Which scissor lift kit do I need, comms or no comm?
Choose the comms version if your lift uses CANBus and you want system monitoring and integration with modern lift controls. Choose no comm for older or non-communication lifts. Both deliver 3.26kWh with the same counterweight system; the difference is whether the lift can read battery data.
Does my scissor lift need CANBus batteries?
Only if the lift's control system supports it. Newer lifts often expect battery communication for monitoring and fault reporting. If yours does, the comms kit integrates directly. If it does not, CANBus data has nowhere to go and the no comm kit is the right choice.
Is the scissor lift kit UL certified?
Yes. The kit is UL and CE certified, which matters for warehouse, construction and industrial sites where equipment has to meet compliance requirements. It also eliminates acid, fumes and ventilation requirements, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor operation.
What does the SOC meter show on a scissor lift kit?
The included Eagle 2 COMM SOC meter gives operators a clear state of charge reading at a glance, so crews know remaining runtime before starting a job rather than guessing. It replaces the voltage-based estimating that made lead-acid unpredictable near the end of a shift.
Do I still need counterweights with the comms kit?
Yes. The kit includes two 86 lb counterweight containers, which must be filled with up to 85 lbs of steel, lead or metal scrap. Lithium is much lighter than the four lead-acid batteries it replaces, and the lift depends on that weight for balance and safe operation.
